DG NILDS Condemns Kwara North Kidnappings Saga

The Director General National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies Professor Abubakar Olanrewaju Sulaiman has expressed worries and deep concern over the recent spates of Kidnappings in Edu and Patigi Local Government Areas in Kwara North.

While sympathising with the peace loving and good people of Lafiagi, Lata nna and Ndanaku in Patigi over the unfortunate and condemnable rascality of the kidnappers, Professor Sulaiman called for extreme vigilance and surveillance not only to fish and flush out the perpetrators but also to nib in the bud their nefarious activities.

Going forward he said in his words : “In times like these all Kwarans must unite and cooperate with the Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazak – led administration and the security agencies to end the audacity of the kidnappers
and flagrant abuse of the stool of the traditional institutions as shown in the patterns of attacks in the affected areas”
