NILDS DG Celebrates Former President Goodluck Jonathan at 68

The Director-General of the National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies (NILDS), Professor Abubakar Sulaiman, has congratulated former President Goodluck Jonathan on his 68th birthday.

In a statement issued on Thursday, by his Media Adviser, Mohammad Abdulkadri, the NILDS DG described Jonathan as a transformative leader whose contributions continue to shape Nigeria’s democratic development.

Professor Sulaiman, who served as Minister of National Planning during Jonathan’s administration, said the former president’s birthday serves as a reminder of his “legendary impact” on the country’s democratic journey. He praised Jonathan as an “unapologetic democrat” who demonstrated unwavering patriotism and exceptional resilience in steering Nigeria through critical national moments.

He added that Jonathan remained committed to national unity, sovereignty, and the indivisibility of the Nigerian state throughout his time in office.

The NILDS DG prayed for sustained good health, wisdom, grace, and divine protection for the former president, wishing him greater strength to continue contributing to national and humanitarian causes.
