The Director General National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies, NILDS, Prof. Abubakar Sulaiman, has congratulated the recently elected president of the Ansaru Islam Society of Nigeria, (AISN), Sarafadeen Alabelewe.
In a statement signed by his Media Adviser
Mohammad Abdulkadri, Prof Sulaiman describe the emergence of Alabelewe’s as the 4th National President in the hall of fame of AISN at the 51st National Delegate Conference held in Ilorin as well merited and the Dawn of a New Era.
He note that the overwhelming votes that elevated him from 2nd Vice National President to the enviable position of substantive president are eloquent expressions of confidence reposed in his exemplary leadership acumen
The Director General, NILDS, who has had decades of remarkable friendship with Alabelewe, said:
” I can vouched for his towering pedigrees and capacity rooted in integrity, piety, uprightness, steadfastness,and selflessness that he will bring to bear in uplifting AISN to higher pedestal”
While congratulating other elected members of the National Executive Council (NEC) of AISN, including the new Image-maker, Gesua Abdulyekini as National Publicity Secretary, the former minister of National Planning charged them to continue to be above board in discharging their responsibilities.
Prof. Sulaiman prayed for God’s guidance and protections for the National Executive Members and wished them successful tours of duty to actualize the onerous tasks in raising the bars of respectability of the AISN, that was founded since 1942.
