Paralympic Games bronze medallist Eniola Bolaji will remain in Peru until August 15 to participate in a high-level para badminton training camp, President of the Badminton Federation of Nigeria, Francis Orbih, has disclosed.
Bolaji secured the women’s singles title at the Peru Para Badminton International 2026 on Sunday, August 9, defeating Brazil’s Kauana Beckenkamp 2-0 (21-12, 21-12) to continue her impressive run on the international stage.
Orbih said the training camp is being organised through a partnership between the Badminton Confederation Africa, Badminton PanAm and the Badminton Federation of Nigeria.
He described the programme as a high-level camp for elite para badminton players, stressing that it will provide Bolaji with valuable preparation ahead of the remaining competitions of the year.
According to Orbih, the camp is part of Bolaji’s preparations for the Thailand and Indonesia championships later this year, as the Nigerian star targets a strong finish to the 2026 season.
