Democracy Day: NCPC Boss Says Twenty Six Years of Civil Rule, Worth Celebrating

Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Christian Pilgrims Commission (NCPC) Bishop Stephen Adegbite has urged President Bola Tinubu to continue ensuring Nigerians reap the dividends of democracy through his Renewed Hope Agenda.

The NCPC Boss who stated this in a congratulatory message signed by Celestine Toruka, Deputy Director and Head Media and Public Relations at the Commission, admonished Nigerians to have faith in God and the present administration for guidance and direction.

Bishop Adegbite congratulated President Tinubu and Nigerians for 26 years of unbroken democracy, noting that Nigeria’s steady and workable civil rule which re-emerged in1999 is a feat worth celebrating.

He further enjoined spiritual leaders to uphold the President, his team, and Nigeria in prayer for economic growth. Additionally, he urged security agencies to build strong synergy to fight terrorism, banditry, and kidnapping in the country.

Bishop Adegbite expressed optimism that despite challenges, Nigeria will soon overcome them. He emphasized the importance of faith and prayer in guiding the nation.
