Flight FC Gboko have made history after edging Lobi Stars FC 1–0 to win their first-ever Benue State FA Cup title in a tightly contested final.

The decisive moment came in the 20th minute when Kpamor Gemanen found the back of the net, a strike that ultimately separated both sides in a game defined by discipline and defensive organisation.

Despite sustained pressure from the more experienced Lobi Stars side, Flight FC Gboko popularly known as the “Gboko Transporters” showed composure and tactical maturity to protect their narrow lead until the final whistle.

The victory marks a major milestone for the Gboko-based club, highlighting their steady rise in Benue State football and reinforcing their growing ambition on the domestic stage.

For Lobi Stars FC, it was a frustrating afternoon as they struggled to break down a determined Flight FC defence that remained compact and focused throughout the encounter.

At full-time, celebrations erupted as players, officials, and supporters of Flight FC Gboko celebrated a historic achievement that will be remembered as a defining moment in the club’s journey.
