Kalu Hails Tinubu, Celebrates Oriaku’s FCC Appointment

Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Kalu, has commended President Bola Tinubu for what he describes as a clear demonstration of inclusivity and regional balance in recent federal appointments.

Kalu’s praise comes on the heels of the appointment of Obinna Oriaku, former Abia State Commissioner for Finance, as the Federal Character Commission (FCC) representative for Abia State.

In a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Levinus Nwabughiogu, the lawmaker hailed Oriaku as “a round peg in a round hole,” citing his proven expertise and competence.

He also congratulates other South East appointees, noting that the move reflects the President’s “visionary leadership and benevolence” towards the region.

Kalu who represents Bende Federal Constituency, expresses confidence that Oriaku will make Abia proud, and urged South Easterners to rally behind the Renewed Hope Agenda.
