Kebbi Fishers Beach Soccer Club have reclaimed the Nigeria Beach Soccer League (NBSL) title after defeating hosts Kada BSC 5-2 in the final of the 2026 Super Four Finals in Kaduna.
The Birnin Kebbi-based side entered the decisive encounter knowing that victory would secure the championship, having won their opening two matches against Niger BSC and Ibom BSC.
Kebbi Fishers took control early, establishing a three-goal lead in the second period before Kada mounted a comeback with two goals.
The champions, however, responded strongly in the third period, adding two more goals to seal a convincing victory.
Hamza Manga was the star of the final, scoring four goals for Kebbi Fishers, while Hassan Abdullahi completed the scoring for the champions. Kada’s goals came through Dozie Frank and Hameed Kareem.
Kebbi Fishers finished the Super Four Finals with a maximum nine points, extending their record to four NBSL league titles.
Kada BSC finished runners-up with six points, while Niger BSC took third place with three points. Ibom BSC ended the competition without a point.
Despite missing out on the title, Kada’s Dozie Frank finished the season as the league’s leading scorer with 17 goals, breaking his own record for the most goals scored in a single NBSL season.
Frank also secured the league’s top-scorer award for the fourth time in six seasons.
His Kada teammate, Victor Tale, was named Most Valuable Player, while Niger BSC received the Fair Play Award. Kebbi Fishers goalkeeper Aiki Nuhu was named Best Goalkeeper, with Ibom BSC’s Gideon John taking the Rising Star Award.
In the women’s invitational tournament, Kings Football FA emerged champions after defeating RCCG Great Grace 3-0 in the final. One Agape FA finished third following a 6-0 victory over Powerful Queens FA.
