Mustapha Receives Award for Contributions to Horse Racing Development

The National Coordinator of the Nigeria Horse Racing Federation, Abubakar Mustapha, has received an award in recognition of his contributions to the development of horse racing in Nigeria.

Mustapha was among the recipients honoured at a sports awards ceremony that recognised individuals and organisations involved in sports development across the country.

Speaking after the presentation, Mustapha said the recognition reflected the federation’s ongoing efforts to promote organised horse racing and expand participation nationwide.

He noted that the federation has focused on improving the structure of racing events, encouraging grassroots participation, and increasing public awareness of the sport.

Mustapha noted that the federation would continue to work with stakeholders to develop young talents and strengthen horse racing as a sustainable sporting activity in Nigeria.

The awards event brought together stakeholders from different sporting disciplines to acknowledge contributions to sports development in the country.
