NBSL Round Two Set for Sallah Showdown in Kaduna

The 2026 Nigeria Beach Soccer League (NBSL) will continue with an exciting second round scheduled to hold from May 29 to 31 at the iconic Murtala Muhammed Square in Kaduna during the Sallah celebrations.

Seven top teams from across the country are expected to battle for crucial points and qualification spots for the Super Finals in what promises to be a thrilling three-day beach soccer spectacle.

The participating clubs include Kada BSC, Kebbi Fishers BSC, BAM Projects BSC, Ibom BSC, Jigawa Golden Stars BSC, Niger BSC, and Anambra BSW.

Hosts Kada BSC head into the Kaduna round as league leaders after a dominant performance in the opening round held in Kebbi State.

The 2022 champions currently sit atop the standings with 10 points, six points clear of second-placed Kebbi Fishers BSC and BAM Projects BSC.

Kebbi Fishers BSC remain the most successful club in NBSL history with three league titles, while Kada BSC and defending champions Anambra Beach Soccer Warriors have one title each.

With Super Finals qualification on the line and fans expected to troop out in large numbers during the festive period, the Kaduna round is set to deliver intense competition, entertainment, and high-quality beach soccer action.
