Nigeria’s impressive campaign at the 2026 CAVB African U-18 Boys Volleyball Championship continued on Saturday with a dominant straight-sets victory over Burundi in Alexandria, Egypt.
The West Africans produced another commanding display to defeat Burundi 3-0 (25-16, 25-11, 25-16), extending their unbeaten run to three matches at the continental tournament.
Nigeria controlled the contest from start to finish, combining solid serving, disciplined defence and clinical attacking play to overwhelm their opponents in all three sets.
The convincing win further underlines Nigeria’s status as one of the tournament’s standout teams as they continue their quest for continental glory.
With three victories from three matches, the team has maintained its perfect record and strengthened its confidence ahead of the knockout stages.
