Nigeria’s Beach Volleyball Teams Depart for African Championship

Nigeria’s men’s and women’s beach volleyball teams have departed the country for the 2026 African Beach Volleyball Championship in Alexandria, Egypt, as they set their sights on continental glory.

The Nigerian contingents will compete against some of Africa’s leading beach volleyball nations, with the championship providing a crucial opportunity for the players to test their strength, tactical discipline and competitive readiness against top opposition.

The tournament is expected to serve as another important platform for Nigeria’s beach volleyball development, while giving the teams valuable international exposure and experience.

With preparations now entering the final stage, the Nigerian teams will be looking to make a strong impression in Alexandria and return home with impressive results on the continental stage.
