This it said is aimed at improving the protection of lives and property and ensuring quicker responses to security threats.
The Kano State Command, in a statement issued by Ibrahim Abdullahi, Public Relations Officer, says the State Commandant, Mohammed Agalama, commissioned the facility as part of efforts to bring security services closer to communities.
He urged residents to partner with security agencies by providing timely and credible intelligence, stressing that effective security requires the active cooperation of the public.
Agalama commended the Dala Local Government Council and the people of Yelwa for supporting the establishment of the outpost, noting that collaboration among government, security agencies, traditional institutions and communities remains vital to sustaining peace and tackling crime.
Chairman of Dala Local Government, Suraj Imam, pledged continued support for the NSCDC and other security agencies, describing the new outpost as a significant boost to security operations and public confidence in the area.
The commissioning ceremony was attended by representatives of the Nigeria Police Force, Nigeria Immigration Service, Hisbah, the Neighbourhood Security Outfit and other community-based security groups, underscoring a united commitment to enhancing safety across the locality.
