The Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF) has officially announced a 14-man Senior Men’s National Team to represent the country at the 2026 CAVB African Nations Cup Zone 3 Qualifiers in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire.
The qualification tournament will take place from July 13 to 19, with Nigeria aiming to secure a place at the 2026 African Nations Cup.
According to the federation, the selected players earned their spots through consistent performances, hard work, discipline, and commitment.
The squad comprises Jaiyeola Abdul Quadri, Vincent Mathias, Moral Jibril, Tiamiyu Ismail, Hassan Abednego, Kazeem Mutiu, Ibe Bruno, Ozokoye Pascal, Ogunshina Obayemi, Emmanuel Udah, Anele Timothy, Ezeofor Amstrong, Oforah Izuchukwu, and Adeniyi Favour.
The technical crew will be led by Head Coach Taiwo Oladipupo, assisted by Yohanna Twevini and Jonah Adamu.
In unveiling the squad, the NVBF congratulated the players and coaching staff on their selection, expressing confidence in the team’s ability to compete strongly and make the nation proud.
The federation also called on Nigerians to rally behind the team as they fly the country’s flag in Abidjan, expressing hope that the squad’s dedication, resilience, and fighting spirit will earn Nigeria qualification for the continental championship.
