Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has urged Muslims across the country to promote peace, unity and mutual understanding as they celebrate Eid-el-Maulud.
In a goodwill message marking the 2026 celebration, she said the occasion offers an opportunity to reflect on the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad.
She highlighted compassion, forgiveness, humility, love and peaceful coexistence as values that should guide Nigerians in their daily lives.
Senator Tinubu called on Muslim faithful to apply these values in their homes and communities while strengthening peaceful relations across the country.
She also expressed hope that the celebration would deepen national unity and bring renewed hope, peace, joy and blessings to Nigerians.
