The Nigeria Aquatics Federation (NAqF) has rescheduled its Swim to the Future programme from September 5 to September 12, 2026, following a clash with preparations for the National Intermediate Games.
The Federation said the adjustment became necessary to accommodate the MOC and LOC Technical Inspection ahead of the Games, an important phase in ensuring adequate preparations and a successful hosting of the event.
NAqF appealed to athletes, coaches, officials, partners and other stakeholders for their understanding, assuring the swimming community that the September 12 programme promises to be an exciting platform for nurturing young talents and advancing the development of swimming in Nigeria.
The Federation expressed appreciation for the continued support of the swimming community and urged all participants to take note of the new date.
