President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has expressed grief over the passing of former Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Customs Service and Sardauna of Adamawa, Alhaji Ahmed Aliyu Mustapha, who died in Abuja on Thursday at the age of 76.
In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President described Mustapha as a dedicated public servant who contributed significantly to the growth and development of the Customs Service and his Adamawa home state. “His immense services to the nation and his community will be sorely missed,” Tinubu said.
The President extended his condolences to the Adamawa Emirate Council, the state government, and the people of Adamawa, praying for Allah’s mercy on the deceased and the repose of his soul.
