The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, on Wednesday inspected ongoing road projects across Abuja, reaffirming the administration’s commitment to timely completion and quality delivery.
The projects—N16 Jahi–Gwarimpa road, Airport Road–Kuje junction, and Kuje-Gwagwalada road—are scheduled for commissioning in May by Bola Tinubu as part of his third anniversary.
Wike expressed satisfaction with the progress, describing contractors’ performance as impressive, while assuring continuous monitoring to meet deadlines.
He also commended the quick response to a collapsed temporary bridge on the Kuje-Gwagwalada route, noting it reflects contractor efficiency.
On politics, Wike dismissed allegations by the Governor of Bauchi state, Senator Bala Mohammed, insisting he remains committed to the PDP while supporting the President.
The Minister maintained that the PDP remains strong despite internal challenges, noting that the recent convention had disproved predictions of the party’s collapse.
Wike reaffirmed his commitment to the PDP while maintaining his support for President Tinubu.
