The Director-General of the National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies (NILDS), Prof. Abubakar Sulaiman, has described the death of Khalifah Adabiyy, Sheikh Abdulkadir Musa, as a major loss to Islamic scholarship and moral leadership.
Prof. Sulaiman stated this in a condolence message issued on Friday through his Media Adviser, Mohammad Abdulkadri, following the passing of the revered Jama’atu Adabiyy leader.
He said the late Islamic scholar devoted his life to the propagation of Islam, religious education, and the promotion of moral values, leaving behind a legacy that would continue to inspire generations.
According to the NILDS Director-General, Sheikh Abdulkadir Musa distinguished himself as a respected teacher, spiritual mentor, and community leader whose commitment to humanity and scholarship earned him admiration across religious circles.
Prof. Sulaiman noted that the cleric’s death has created a vacuum that would be difficult to fill, particularly within the Islamic scholarly community and among followers of Jama’atu Adabiyy.
He condoled with the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, the leadership and members of Jama’atu Adabiyy, as well as the immediate family of the deceased over the painful loss.
The NILDS boss prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive the late Sheikh Abdulkadir Musa, grant him Aljanatul Firdaus, and give his family, associates, as well as followers the fortitude to bear the loss.
