The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), Bishop Stephen Adegbite, has congratulated President Bola Tinubu on the third anniversary of his administration, commending his leadership and resilience in the face of the nation’s challenges.
In a statement issued on Friday in Abuja, Adegbite, on behalf of the commission’s board and staff, praised the President for demonstrating purposeful leadership since assuming office on May 29, 2023, despite inheriting significant economic and security challenges.
The NCPC boss lauded the administration’s bold policy initiatives aimed at addressing Nigeria’s economic difficulties and encouraged the President to remain focused on delivering on his mandate.
He expressed optimism that the country’s current economic challenges would be overcome, noting that brighter days lie ahead for Nigeria.
Adegbite also called on Nigerians to support the government and pray for lasting solutions to the nation’s security concerns, urging citizens to work collectively with the authorities to combat banditry, insurgency and kidnapping while stressing that all Nigerians have a shared responsibility to safeguard the country’s future.
“We have no other country to call our own except Nigeria. Therefore, we must all fight for the soul of our nation, no matter whose ox is gored,” he said.
The cleric further extended goodwill messages to Vice President Kashim Shettima, First Lady Oluremi Tinubu and other leaders across the country.
He prayed for God’s grace, strength and good health for President Tinubu as he continues to steer the paffairs of the nation.
