NILDS DG Condoles Toyin Ojora-Saraki on Death of Father

The Director-General of the National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies (NILDS), Professor Abubakar O. Sulaiman, has expressed his deepest condolences to Toyin Ojora-Saraki over the death of her father and patriarch of the Ojora family, Otunba Adekunle Ojora.

The condolence message, dated Wednesday, was issued by his Media Adviser, Mohammad Abdulkadri.

Professor Sulaiman said the death of Otunba Ojora at the age of 93 represents a devastating emotional blow and the irreplaceable loss of a titan whose life was rooted in unprecedented acts of generosity, uncommon royal carriage, and a lifelong commitment to supporting his family and the less privileged in society.

He stated that the late Ojora would be remembered as a great Nigerian whose exemplary life embodied integrity, piety, and true service to God and humanity.

According to the NILDS Director-General, with the extraordinary accomplishments and inspirational life journey of her late father, Toyin Saraki, née Ojora, could not have wished for more from Almighty Allah in a biological father.

The former Minister of National Planning prayed that God would grant the Ojora family the fortitude and courage to bear the profound loss and strengthen them during the trying period occasioned by the death of their beloved father.

He also prayed for the forgiveness of the shortcomings of the late Otunba of Lagos and Lisa of Ife and for him to be granted a place in Aljannat Firdaus.
