The Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) has shared a total of ₦1.969 trillion for the December 2025 Federation Account Revenue among the Federal Government, State Governments, and Local Government Councils.
The Federal Government received ₦653.5 billion, State Governments were allocated ₦706.469 billion, while Local Government Councils got ₦513.272 billion. In addition, ₦96.083 billion was shared to oil-producing states as derivation revenue.

The total distributable revenue comprised:
• ₦1.084 trillion statutory revenue
• ₦846.507 billion from Value Added Tax (VAT)
• ₦38.110 billion from the Electronic Money Transfer Levy (EMTL)
On statutory revenue, the Federal Government received ₦520.807 billion, States ₦264.160 billion, and Local Governments ₦203.656 billion.
For VAT, the Federal Government received ₦126.976 billion, States ₦423.254 billion, and LGs ₦296.277 billion. From EMTL, allocations were ₦5.717 billion to the Federal Government, ₦19.055 billion to States, and ₦13.338 billion to LGs.
FAAC noted that Companies Income Tax, Capital Gains Tax, Import Duty, and VAT increased in December, while Petroleum Profit Tax, Excise Duty, and EMTL decreased.
The Committee emphasized that these allocations ensure timely funding for government operations at all levels.
