Nigeria’s Grace Osaretin delivered a golden performance on home soil, powering to victory in the Women Junior 1km Time Trial at the ongoing 2026 CAC Track African Championships in Abuja.
The young Nigerian cyclist thrilled the home crowd with a dominant ride, clocking 1:14.380 to secure gold ahead of Egypt’s Joudy El Sayed, who settled for silver, while another Nigerian rider, Divine Ogbe, claimed bronze to complete a memorable outing for Team Nigeria.
