The Director General, National Institute for Sports (NIS), Philip Shaibu, has congratulated President Bola Tinubu following his victory at the presidential primaries of the All Progressives Congress.
In a statement personally signed on Monday Shaibu describes Tinubu’s emergence as the party’s presidential candidate as a reflection of the trust, confidence, and overwhelming support he enjoys among party members and stakeholders across the country.
The former Edo State Deputy Governor noted that the President’s victory was well deserved, citing his leadership qualities, political experience, and commitment to national development as key factors behind the outcome of the exercise.
Shaibu also commended the National Working Committee of the APC for conducting what he described as a peaceful, transparent, and credible primary election, adding that the process further strengthened the party’s unity and internal democracy.
He urged members and supporters of the APC to remain united ahead of the general elections, expressing optimism that the party would secure victory through collective commitment and dedication.
The NIS boss further wished President Tinubu continued success in his efforts toward building a more prosperous Nigeria.
