The Director General of the National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies (NILDS), Prof. Abubakar Sulaiman, has facilitated the distribution of free meat to 400 vulnerable residents as part of activities marking the Eid-al-Adha celebration.
According to a statement issued by the Media Adviser to the DG, NILDS, Mohammad Abdulkadri, the initiative was carried out through the Amana Foundation in Ilorin, Kwara State, in line with the spirit of sacrifice, compassion, and generosity associated with the Islamic festival.
A total of 10 cows were shared during the exercise, which was conducted in an orderly, well-coordinated manner and lasted several hours.

The statement says distribution attracted beneficiaries from different communities within Ilorin, who expressed appreciation for the intervention.
Prof. Sulaiman, a former Minister of National Planning, is currently in Saudi Arabia for pilgrimage.
Beneficiaries prayed for his safe return to Nigeria while commending the gesture.

The exercise ended peacefully with participants exchanging Eid Mubarak greetings.
