The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Governor Ademola Adeleke of the Accord Party winner of the 2026 Osun State governorship election.
Adeleke secured 511,067 votes, defeating his closest challenger, Bola Oyebamiji of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who polled 444,815 votes.
The declaration was made on Sunday morning by the Returning Officer, Professor Joshua Ogunwole, following the collation of results from the state’s 30 local government areas.
The victory gives Adeleke another term as governor of Osun State.
