Round 2 of the Abuja Veteran Invitational Tournament 2026 produced exciting action as Gwagwalada Allstars, Nyanya Allstars, Timeless Titans FC and Apo Fitness Club recorded notable results.
Gwagwalada Allstars defeated New Karu Allstars 3–1 in the opening match, while Nyanya Allstars secured a convincing 3–0 victory over Likeminds Allstars.
Timeless Titans FC edged Allstars Aleiyata 1–0, before Abuja Allstars claimed a narrow 1–0 win over Karu Allstars Football Club.
In the final encounter, Apo Fitness Club led Nurudeen Veterans 2–0 before the match was stopped at 6:57pm and subsequently declared inconclusive by the Local Organising Committee Chairman.
Attention now shifts to the next Round 2 fixtures on Saturday, August 29, at the Main Bowl of the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.
Z Michael Legends will face Kuje Allstars at 8:00am, while McSteve take on Ex-Professionals FC at 9:30am.
Brotherhood Allstars FC will battle New Karu Allstars at 10:45am, followed by Gwagwalada Allstars against NNPC Ltd Allstars at 12:00 noon.
The final fixture at 1:30pm will see Nurudeen Veterans take on Apo Fitness Club as Round 2 continues with more exciting veterans football action in Abuja.
