President Bola Tinubu on Thursday night held a private dinner with French President Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée Palace in Paris.
The meeting was disclosed on Friday by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, in a post on his X handle.
Onanuga said the dinner underscored the enduring relationship between Nigeria and France and reflected the commitment of both countries to deepening bilateral cooperation.
President Tinubu is currently in France as part of his annual vacation in Europe.
The President travelled to Europe for his annual leave and is expected to return to Abuja this weekend.
The private dinner with Macron took place during Tinubu’s ongoing stay in France, where he has been spending his vacation.
Upon his return to the Federal Capital Territory, the President is expected to resume his official duties.
