Three-time champions Kebbi Fishers BSC and 2022 winners Kada BSC have set up a thrilling title decider at the 2026 Nigeria Beach Soccer League (NBSL) Super 4 Finals in Kaduna after maintaining their perfect records.
Kebbi Fishers secured their second straight victory with a 3-1 win over Ibom BSC in the opening Matchday Two fixture at Murtala Muhammed Square.
Hamza Manga was the star of the contest, scoring twice, while Ekene Obi added another to seal the win for the former champions. Emma Okon scored Ibom BSC’s only goal.
Hosts Kada BSC also made it two wins from two matches after edging Niger BSC 3-2 in an entertaining encounter.
Dozie Frank put Kada ahead in the opening period before Jamilu Haruna levelled for Niger.
Kada regained the advantage through Tanko Emmanuel and Victor Tale, who struck to give the hosts a two-goal cushion.
Hassan Abubakar reduced the deficit for Niger BSC late in the game, but Kada held on to claim another important victory.
With both teams now sitting on perfect records after two matches, Kebbi Fishers and Kada BSC will clash in Sunday’s decisive final, with the winner crowned 2026 NBSL Super 4 champions.
Ibom BSC and Niger BSC will battle for third place.
Meanwhile, the women’s beach soccer invitational tournament will conclude on Sunday with Kings Football Female Academy facing RCCG Great Grace in the final.
The closing-day programme will also feature an All-Star match between the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Kaduna Chapter, and the NBSL All-Stars.
