In the bid to strengthen higher education in Niger state, Governor Umaru Bago, has signed a one-million-dollar scholarship bond with the University of Toronto.
This is with a matching contribution from the University of Toronto, creating a two-million-dollar fund to support 100 students pursuing medical degrees and professional courses.
According to Governor Bago who led a delegation of Niger State government officials to the All Saints University Admin Office in Toronto, this partnership opens doors for aspiring medical professionals and solidifies the ongoing collaboration between institutions dedicated to advancing knowledge and opportunity.
“During this visit, a groundbreaking agreement was signed, marking a significant investment in future medical professionals”.
