Guinness World Record holder and Nigerian chef Hilda Baci has urged tourists, investors to explore Akwa Ibom State, citing its infrastructure, hospitality and investment opportunities.
Baci made the call on Wednesday after meeting Akwa Ibom Governor Umo Eno at the Government House in Uyo.
The chef, an indigene of the state, praised the pace of infrastructural development and the peaceful atmosphere in Akwa Ibom.
She also highlighted the facilities at Victor Attah International Airport, describing the infrastructure as impressive.
Baci also praised the hospitality and industrious nature of Akwa Ibom residents and said she would work with relevant stakeholders to support the state’s development where necessary.
She encouraged visitors to explore the state’s environmental, recreational and hospitality attractions, as well as its investment opportunities.
During the meeting, Governor Eno commended Baci for her determination and adventurous spirit, saying her achievements showed how courage and persistence could help overcome barriers.
The governor also praised her for promoting Akwa Ibom through her cooking exploits and encouraged her to continue showcasing the state.
