Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, has donated 25 campaign vehicles, generators and electronic speakers to boost grassroots mobilisation for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027.
The donation was made during the launch of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement’s grassroots mobilisation campaign in Jalingo, Taraba State.
Tompolo, the movement’s Grand Patron, was represented by Kestin Pondi, who called for another four-year term for Tinubu.

Pondi said the President’s reforms needed more time to consolidate and deliver greater benefits to Nigerians.
“Taraba is thriving because President Tinubu has good reformation policies that are moving the state forward. If we want those policies to continue and be more solid, to consolidate on them, we need to give the president another four years,” he said.
He said continuity would sustain the timely payment of civil servants’ salaries and give Governor Agbu Kefas more time to develop the state.
Pondi also cited reduced fuel queues and fewer disruptions to university education as some of the changes under the Tinubu administration.

He acknowledged the challenges associated with reforms but said Nigerians needed to give them time to produce results.
“Every policy needs time to consolidate; every policy needs time to show dividends. Every policy reformation will always come with its own challenges,” he said.
Pondi urged supporters to take the campaign to homes, religious centres, wards, local government areas and polling units.
For Governor, Agbu Kefas, he said Taraba residents are already seeing the impact of the Tinubu administration through projects being implemented in the state.
“Taraba is ready. You don’t need to tell the people of Taraba State what the President is doing; they are seeing what the President is doing through me,” Kefas said.

The governor reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to the Renewed Hope Agenda and pledged massive support for Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.
“I want to assure you that we are going to turn out en masse and give the President 100 percent votes. We are ready for Mr. President,” he said.
Earlier, the National Coordinator of the movement, Sunday Asuku, said the group was in Taraba to mobilise support for Tinubu and Kefas.
Asuku urged Nigerians to maintain the current political direction, saying abandoning the Tinubu administration’s reforms would be counterproductive.
“The surest way for us today is the APC. We are on the right trajectory and that is why we should remain where we are,” he said.
