Afrobeats superstar Davido has gifted his former DMW signee, Mayorkun, a brand-new Tesla Cybertruck.
The singer announced the surprise gift on his Instagram Story on Sunday. He shared a photo of the luxury electric vehicle and wrote, “My gift to you. I love you @iammayorkun.”
Davido also directed a close associate to deliver the vehicle, saying, “#babzii_chilling pls have it delivered tomorrow.”
Although Davido did not reveal the truck’s price, the Tesla Cybertruck has attracted global attention for its futuristic design, stainless steel body and advanced electric technology.
Mayorkun, whose real name is Adewale Mayowa, joined Davido Music Worldwide (DMW) in 2016 before leaving the label in 2021 to pursue his solo career.
Despite parting ways professionally, Davido and Mayorkun have maintained a close relationship and have continued to support each other publicly over the years.
