Wike: Gwawalada Road Project to Boost Transport, Living Conditions

By Sofiat Adenekan-Abdul

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, says the ongoing Gwawalada road project is aimed at improving transportation and living conditions for residents of the area.

Wike stated this during an inspection of the project, where he commended the contractor, for the progress made so far.

The minister expressed confidence that the project would be completed within the agreed timeframe, reportedly by December, saying infrastructure delivery should ultimately improve the lives of residents.

He also said the positive response from residents during the inspection showed the importance of projects that directly address the needs of communities.

Wike said the FCT Administration, with support from President Bola Tinubu, would continue to prioritise infrastructure development across the territory.
